Valuable Social Media Sources 

1. bonniekathryn- This particular link is to a Pinterest account. This account is wonderful for Elementary aged classrooms. It has so many different ideas from science to crafts to ideas on decorating the classroom. 
2. growingbookbybook- This link is to an instagram account. This one features different books for elementary aged students. This is wonderful for the classroom because it mentions what age range each book is appropriate for as well as a suggested activity to pair with each story. 
3. blastasticday- This link is also to an instagram account. This one contains a multitude of different craft projects for young children. It is a wonderful resource for teachers because it contains videos explaining how to craft many different projects. 
4. videos- This is a YouTube channel titled Alphablocks. Alphablocks is a cute little YouTube series depicting alphabet blocks to teach the concepts of phonics. It is wonderful to help grab young children's attention when teaching the concepts of phonics. Some of the videos are a bit long however, showing them in the classroom can help children further understand the lesson. 
5. teach-em- This is a wonderful Pinterest board. It contains a multitude of art and science project ideas. It goes even further and includes math and science lessons. There are so many great ideas included in this Pinterest board that I would use in almost any elementary classroom one day. 
6. https://www.youtube.com/@HomeschoolPop/videos- Homeschool Pop is a YouTube channel. This channel has a very wide variety of topics explained in a kid friendly manner. This is amazing for any classroom because it shows so many different concepts there is a video for almost any concept you could possibly teach an elementary schooler.
7.  videos- This YouTube channel is titled KLT. It is a great resource for older elementary schoolers. The videos teach many different science topics most of which are related to the planets and solar systems. It is great for engaging children and making learning science especially about the planet fun. 

Social Media Plan 

            After so much research I have come to the conclusion that if I ever wanted to promote my library one day I would chose the platform of instagram. Instagram is not something young children typically use however it is something other teachers and parents will use. Specifically what I plan to do is use instagram to post newly added books to the collection. This will help entice children to come check out books from the library as well as give teachers advice on how to use the material for a lesson.
